ARNOLD
Arnold has been intrigued by sports and fitness ever since he first put on the football pads in middle school. The idea of improvement and becoming a superior athlete, even if it is a little bit each day, has been fascinating to him. After playing basketball and football in high school, he decided to pursue his curiosity and attend West Chester University focusing on a degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in pre-Physical Therapy.
While at West Chester, Arnold joined quite a few clubs to expand his experiences in a variety of ways. Clubs such as Dub-C Dance-A-Thon where he led different fundraisers for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Exercise Science Club where he ran fitness charity events as well as expanded his knowledge in fitness with the help of his peers. He also was a member of the nationally recognized Phi Epsilon Kappa honor fraternity, a fraternity that is reserved for dedicated students pursuing health science. He also spent a lot of his time training the West Chester women’s rugby team, leading group fitness classes for university staff and students, and personal training university staff and students. Arnold’s pillars of exercise, things that people should focus on for a better quality of life, are strength training, flexibility, mobility, and cardiovascular endurance. To achieve these in his clients, he approaches everyone as an equal and with empathy to better understand them and what they are going through. This creates an atmosphere of encouragement and accountability for both Arnold and his client for them to achieve the most important aspect of personal training, the clients wants and goals.
