Many people get overwhelmed and intimidated when walking into a public gym. They are not sure what they should be doing in order to reach their specific goals. Also, without proper instruction, it is very easy to get injured. Without a personal trainer, it is also very easy to procrastinate and put off your exercise when you don’t have someone helping to keep you accountable and to motivate you. After your initial extensive consultation, we are armed with the knowledge of what your goals are, any limitations you may have and we know exactly what we need to do in order to reach those goals. We are with you every step of the way, praising or correcting. We are not only your experts on physical training but we are also your cheerleaders, boosting you up and motivating you to be all that you can and want to be.

This is just one of the things that separates us from everyone else. We have a commercial private gym facility. We only do one-on-one training. There is only one client and one trainer in the gym at a time. Personal Training is just that-Personal. You are free to talk about personal things that you do not want other people to hear. You are free to just be yourself, at your specific level without the judgement of others. For the hour and a half that you are with us, it is all about YOU. THIS is what we consider to be “real” Personal Training.

All of our sessions are 1 hour. This ensures that we are able to do all that we want to do at each session and still be able to take rest breaks in between exercises if needed. We will cover cardio, stretching for flexibility and injury prevention, floor exercises, strength training, and agility training. Endurance training and even boxing for certain individuals.

We accept cash, checks and all major credit cards.

Some people notice immediate results. Especially when combined with our optional nutritional guidance and food/menu plan. The two work hand in hand to give you optimum results. However, generally speaking, you will see results within the first two (2) weeks. You will have more flexibility, inch loss, more strength and more energy. Bathroom habits will improve, cholesterol, triglycerides and blood pressure numbers will improve, blood sugar levels will normalize and if you are looking to lose weight, you will have lost weight as well. WE are results driven. With that said, its important to know that our job is to know what your current fitness level is and to build on that. Some trainers judge their greatness on how hard they can work you. WE here at New Mind And Body feel that that philosophy is ridiculous and just wrong. There is a fine line between doing enough and doing too much. I want you to feel like you have done something the next day but I cant have you in pain to where you can’t function in your everyday life. If you are in pain, you are going to dread doing the exercise and surely won’t be looking forward to your next session. one of my goals for you is to actually enjoy the exercise that you are doing, see immediate results, and to instill in you a positive attitude towards exercise.

It’s what we live for here at New Mind And Body. We have MANY MANY success stories. (see Testimonial page) We have clients who have lost a lot of weight. We have clients that were very thin and had no muscle that now have muscle definition and perfect symmetry. We have clients that were loose and flabby who are now firm and toned. We have clients who were on a myriad of medications that their doctor has now taken them off of. We have clients who initially had shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and ankle pain that through proper exercise no longer exists. Clients report clearer thinking, mental alertness, vast amounts of energy, the reduction or elimination of aches and pains and just an overall feeling of well being.

WE are very big on educating you the client. We realize that you are not going to have us forever. (although I must say that we currently have clients that have been training with us since 2008).  Therefore, we are always teaching the what’s, why’s and how’s of everything we do in the gym. If you know these things, you will have the ability to work- out properly on your own when that time comes. And even then, once a client, always a client. You will always be able to reach out to us via phone and text anytime you have questions, concerns or need help in any way. We build strong, caring relationships with our clients that don’t end when the training is over.
